Iris Barrett is pursuing her Doctorate in Education at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, with graduation slated for 2012. Regent is a Christian university whose curriculum is taught from a biblical worldview. She has successfully completed her doctoral coursework and comprehensive exams and is in the dissertation writing and defense phase. Concentrating in the area of Adult Education, Iris will use her doctorate to build upon her work in adult education and Christian leadership and development. "Women With a Call"
“Women with a Call” is a leadership group for women who are leading outreach ministries or are sincerely pursuing a closer walk with God. This group is led by Iris Barrett and meets every other month at Christian Community Outreach Ministries (CCOM) in Hickory, NC. The purpose of the group is to meet the needs of women who are moving forward in the call of Christ upon their lives. Leadership Training: Mountain State University
Iris Barrett's training organization has expanded. She is partnering with Mountain State University in Beckley, West Virginia, to teach leadership and organizational development to students seeking their Bachelor's Degree in Leadership.
